About GateWay

GateWay is an LPMud, a text based multiplayer fantasty adventure game which has been running in one form or another since 1990.

It consists of more than 10,000 active rooms created by roughly 150 different volunteers over the years, nine guilds players can join that grant different types of abilities, and more than 30 quests involving varying degrees of puzzle solving, combat, and exploration.

It’s not so busy now as Back In The Day™, but people do still pop in to smite the occasional dragon, save the magician’s daughter, kill Death himself, or perhaps just serve the King a fish dinner.
